Cell phone parking is great with arrival boards and bathrooms. Free
Great. Expensive, but easy to use. The first hour is free at short term garage. There is plenty of parking
Yes, gps to get to it. Has restrooms and snacks, plus digital flight board
Each hotel has his own
Short term is $22 max. per 24 hours
Yes, the drop off area is in front of each selected airline
Lyfy and uber are always there. Make sure to note what airline and color you are coming from so they will know where to get you
Always open , each airline check in is open at different times based on flight times
The road is long I have been uncomfortable to get to the positions of rent a cars, I do not think that for an hour the reservation falls because they know the time of delay and if the airline arrived on time or not, my recommendation is that you communicate with the landlord via e-mail and with your reservation number you explain your inconvenience or that you withdraw the car at 14:00 hrs. Greetings and have a nice trip
I have TSA pre-check and live 45 minutes away. When I have a flight at like 8:15a in the morning I wake up at 5:30a and leave the house by 6:15a. Checked luggage stops 45 minutes before your flight for Southwest so I give myself 30 minutes wiggle room. The TSA pre-check let's me skip the long lines.
3 restaurants in A open; Starbucks, NY Pizza(?) and Pei Wei or something like that. Only 1 set of restrooms open. Did have a comfortable section open by the "spa". Fairly clean but in today's day and age more options for a restroom would be beneficial. Maybe I'm being too harsh, just don't want you to be really excited about a 3 hour layover here.
Growing place. All the latest amenities and innovations. Currently requires masks.
Clean, small airport under construction, close to Marriot Hilton, Hampton inn and other reputable hotels. Marriot is inside airport with small swimming pool and cafe. Most stores are closed..restaurants/ fast food open right now are: Wendy's and chick -fil- A. Rent a car centers are on 4th floor. One must ride a train to get to the terminals. Masks required inside all buildings due to Covid 19 gate in Tampa. Elevators, escalator and moving stairs throughout airport. Good little airport with big vision.
It was my 1st time flying into and out of this airport. I had a pretty good experience for traveling alone. Plenty of signs to get you where you need to go and several kind faces that made sure I was heading in the place I needed to be when noticing me slowing to read the signs. It's a bit spread out compared to Fort Myers airport but was still a good experience. 🙂❤ 💙
Great airport. Easy in, easy out. I parked in long term parking garage and was at my gate 10 minutes later. Didn't check a bag and there is the COVID pandemic buy even in the past it's been very fast.
Love this airport. Wish things were open. Sunday nights are dead. Flew in from Dulles airport at 8pm.
*Social distancing at the airport due to Covid-19 is 25 feet minimum, not 6 feet.*It serves some pretty good airlines, but security is harsh. No vintage/antique items allowed in carryon at this airport. Once, I bought a vintage fan in the area (Model 16SD3 Westinghouse desk fan), they made me put it in checked baggage, and it arrived with damage in Chicago.
Nice clean airport with signage that is easy to follow. Staff are professional and courteous. Only problem -- the drive into the airport is always different. The approach to the airport is ALWAYS under construction at some point and in heavy traffic you have to make several quick decisions about getting to arrival or departing flights. Inside is great, outside needs some work.
Utilized Delta Airlines ("BLUE"arrival/departure)Easy airport to navigate. Just know....if you are waiting in the arrival lane for your guest(s) to step out, the airport traffic guard will make you circle the loop if you wait there too long. Pretty much if you sit at the curb any longer than 3-5 mins, he's going to make you circle the loop. Its not a big deal and I understand the intent to make room for others that are ready for pick up. Good airport though!
I spend a lot of time at this airport. Their set-up entering airport makes it very easy to follow entering and leaving the airport. I love the curbside pick up option. BUT unless the person or persons your picking up are right at the curb, forget about parking. I suggest you go to short term parking which has free parking for the first hour. Park as close to an elevator as possible, under either red or blue...(planes are assigned under two colors) each elevator is named. So when your guest calls, or you call your ride. All you have to do is look for example blue Earhart elevators level 4. Funny that's where I was yesterday.
I had my boarding pass prior to arriving. I went to the terminal, and went through TSA quickly.Gate seating is socially distant. I felt comfortable at the airport and found it easy to navigate
